It’s been a rough week of news coverage in the US this past week and a half. Makes me say even more confidently - “come quickly lord Jesus.”

You know what they don’t tell you?
That friendships get more difficult in your mid-twenties. Whoever said that the awkward, self-conscious attempts to make friends ended in junior high was wrong. Except it’s worse this time around! And your existing (even sometimes long-standing) friendships morph and change with new relationships and full time jobs and weddings and babies and sometimes it doesn’t feel good.
This was probably in some Thought Catalog article that I forgot to read.But still. A little bummed out tonight.
